Mina Alexander

Mina Alexander is the founder of Alexander Tax Law, where he provides strategic tax and corporate counsel with a balance of Big Firm sophistication and boutique efficiency. His career began in the courtroom, first as a provincial Crown prosecutor and later as Counsel with the Department of Justice Canada, representing the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) in complex tax litigation. These roles gave him rare insight into how the government builds cases, experience he now uses to defend and advise clients with precision.

The Beyond the law, Mina is deeply engaged in professional learning and mentorship of young & aspiring lawyers, contributing to the Canadian tax community while staying ahead of tax trends.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling and playing sports (basketball, squash, weightlifting). PS. Always looking for people to play squash with, let me know if you’re game!
